Terms & Conditions

Thank you for your interest in purchasing from Studio Delphinium Kigurumi. By purchasing from me, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. General

1.1. These terms and conditions apply to all sales of kigurumi masks through Studio Delphinium Kigurumi (the “Service”).

1.2. By purchasing from me, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

​

2. Product Information

2.1. Kigurumi masks are handcrafted and made to order. Due to the nature of the product, slight variations/defects may occur.

2.2. I strive to ensure that the colors and features of my masks are accurately represented in photos; however, due to monitor settings and lighting, actual colors may vary slightly.

2.3 Customers are responsible for providing accurate measurements, as masks are made to order. I am not responsible for sizing errors due to inaccurate measurements.

2.4 Reference photo changes are not accepted after a commission has been accepted, as orders are accepted based on the reference provided.

3. Orders and Payment

3.1. All orders must be placed through email or through other channels if applicable.

3.2. A 50% deposit is required at the time of order, and the remaining balance is due after the 3D model has been approved. I accept the following payment methods: PayPal.

3.3. All prices are in USD and do not include taxes, VAT, customs fees, or shipping fees.

3.4. Prices are subject to change over time in relation to material supply, economic changes, and evolving skill level.

4. Shipping and Delivery

4.1. I offer worldwide shipping. Shipping times and costs vary depending on the destination.

4.2. Estimated delivery times are specified at the time of your order, but I cannot guarantee delivery by a specific date due to potential delays outside of my control.

4.3. The customer is responsible for providing accurate shipping information. I am not liable for lost or delayed shipments due to incorrect addresses.

4.4 Studio Delphinium Kigurumi is not responsible for lost or damaged packages. Parcel insurance is automatically added to shipping costs when creating a label.

4.5 Customers are responsible for opening and inspecting the product within 60 days of the shipping date; otherwise, the shipping insurance is void.

4.6 Customers are responsible for providing images or videos if the package arrives damaged.

4.7 International customers are responsible for all import fees.

5. Returns, Exchanges, and Cancellations

5.1. Due to the customized nature of kigurumi masks, I do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges unless the product is defective or incorrect due to our error. In this case, you are responsible for reporting the error to me within 14 days of delivery; otherwise, no refund or return can be made.

5.2. Cancellations are not allowed once an order has been placed. The refunded amount is only partial and will only reflect the fraction of work completed at the time of cancellation.

5.3. In the event that I deem a return necessary, you are responsible for properly packaging your mask. Masks that are returned damaged are not eligible for a full refund.

6. Care Instructions

6.1. Proper care is essential to maintain the quality of your kigurumi mask. I am not responsible for damage or degradation caused by improper care.

7. Prohibited Use Policy

7.1. My kigurumi masks are designed for artistic and creative use, and I do not permit them to be primarily used for lewd or pornographic content. This policy applies to subsequent owners as well.

7.2. If I become aware that a customer is using or has used my masks primarily for pornographic content, I reserve the right to terminate any ongoing business with that customer and refuse future sales.

7.3. What constitutes as "primarily" is up to the sole discretion of Studio Delphinium Kigurumi.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1. All original designs and promotional content by Studio Delphinium Kigurumi are protected intellectual property. Reproduction, redistribution, or commercial use, including 3D scanning or copying of mask designs, is strictly prohibited without written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1. Studio Delphinium Kigurumi is not responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses related to the use of my kigurumi masks.

9.2. In no event shall Studio Delphinium Kigurumi be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the product.​

10. Right to Refuse or Cancel Service

10.1. I reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at my discretion for any reason, even after payment has been made.

10.2. If I choose to cancel your order after payment, a refund will be issued, with the refunded amount reflecting the progress and work completed up to that point.

11. Failure to Respond

11.1. Customers are required to respond to messages and provide requested feedback in a timely manner to ensure the successful completion of their commission.

11.2. Commission work is often paused while waiting for a response/feedback from the client. If I do not hear back within 7 days, further attempts will be made at communication. If this becomes a pattern, I reserve the right to cancel an order as outlined in 11.5.

11.3. If a customer fails to respond for 30 days, the commission will be considered void, and the agreement will be terminated. In such cases, only a partial refund will be issued, with the refunded amount reflecting the progress and work completed up to that point.

11.4. Exceptions may be made only if prior arrangements have been agreed upon in writing.

11.5 Even if the threshold of 30 consecutive days without communication is not met, I reserve the right to cancel an order if communication on the buyer's side is consistently insufficient, as this significantly hinders lead times and delays future commission openings. This only occurs after attempts at mediation have been made and failed.​​

12. Resale
12.1. Resale of masks purchased from me is permitted.

​​

13. Repairs and Refurbishments
13.1. I do not provide repair or refurbishment services for used kigurumi masks.

13.2. Modifications or repairs performed by third parties or through DIY methods are done at your own risk and may affect the mask's original quality and durability.

13.4. While I allow third-party or DIY refurbishment, I am not responsible for any damage or issues resulting from such work.

13.5. Replacement masks must be commissioned as a new order and will follow the standard pricing and production timeline according to the piece in need of replacing. Previous printing files are stored for as long as possible, but I cannot guarantee I will still have them after the commission is complete.

14. Changes to Terms and Conditions

14.1. I reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on my website, and your continued use of my services constitutes acceptance of those changes.

Partial Refund Policy:

In some cases, I may choose to discontinue work with a client due to violations of this contract. Depending on the violation, a partial refund or no refund will be given. Partial refunds are given at my discretion. As of November 2025, the partial refund policy reflects the work completed and is as follows:

3D Modeling Stage: 75% refund

Printing Stage: 50% refund

Wig (wigs are done before painting): 25% refund

Sanding/Painting/Makeup: No refund​
